In fact, in the news recently was an example of why even home owners should consider a security camera system. The news item in question was the case where  a group of burglars rushed the home of a couple that were foster parents to special needs children. The security cameras didn’t stop the crime, but it did help solve what would have otherwise been a likely cold case had the footage not have revealed what it did. The security cameras in this case caught the perps from all angles coverging on the home, showed what they were driving, how long they were in the home and what direction they left in.

Security cameras are better quality and cheaper than they’ve ever been before now. They are also super easy to install, so if your a do it yourselfer you can reduce your cost even further by installing them by yourself. Installation is usually half the cost of a security camera system, so you your savings can be considerable.
